ABOUT RANDY I have been a drywall finisher for 25 years working with joint compound and finishing knives. One of the more creative aspects of the trade is doing various types of textures by hand which has led me to my interest in art. I have found that by combining acrylic paint to the joint compound and applying it to wood I am able to create some unique effects suggesting flow and movement. All of my work is done with knives of all sizes depending on the piece. To further finish the work, I apply a coat of polyurethane which seals the compound and brings out the rich colors. Because of the materials involved; all of my work is quite durable and in fact water resistant so they can be displayed outdoors. Click to Enter Gallery
