Suzanne Karcher Rogers

Suzanne’s paintings/prints are a visual journal of thoughts and paint/ink. She works on, and completes, several pieces simultaneously. The works are a record of that time span. She depicts human beauty, flaws, vulnerabilities, and tenacity as well as the beauty, flaws, and vulnerabilities of the medium (paint, ink, and china marker).
I paint like a fisherman. I play with paint and the thoughts of the day and respond to that visual record the next day. I enjoy the process as much as the completed piece.
